“When I was traveling throughout Mexico, I couldn’t stop thinking about this one woman who sold fish tacos every morning. While she wasn’t the only one around who did this, she always had a line and was sold out two hours after opening shop. I’d see her around town later that day doing her thing and thought, “Man, she’s got her shit together!” It was the idea of doing one thing really well, having a life outside of work, and employing a rotating cast of friends and family that pushed me to start my business. Obviously, at the time, I didn’t realize how much time it took to make one item really well.”
