On Tuesday, July 26 I interviewed twins Leigh and Chandra Watson, singer/songwriters and owners of The Cordelle. At the Nashville Entrepreneur Center, we talked about how the environment they grew up in influenced their music and why they decided to open an event space in town. “When we created the Cordelle we wanted it to be authentic, genuine, and most importantly, us. We forced ourselves to understand that regardless of what our competition was, because there’s a lot of amazing event spaces in town, we weren’t trying to be them. Nashville being the way it is, we had to trust that would translate. Fortunately, people were drawn to it.”
Join me for the next Sip It! on September 27 for another live interview with graffiti and fine artist Troy Duff.
