I am so proud to be a part of the Creatives Day squad—an advocacy support group whose mission is to bolster Nashville’s creative community. This organization, recognized and supported by Mayor Megan Barry, recognizes individuals, from film makers and fine artists, for their entrepreneurial spirit and passion for innovation.
“We want to connect residents, community leaders and creatives so we can solve the issues which impact our beloved Nashville,” explains Creatives’ Day Chair Brian Sexton pictured below.
This year’s list of “Creatives on The Rise” winners include artists such as Jake Elliott, Omari Booker, and Katie Wolf whose work I greatly admire. I’m honored to have my quote include in the official media release.
“Nashville is an inspiration for how things could be if we all cheered one another on instead of always trying to be right. Everything that is wrong with our world is made right in this supportive, creative ecosystem,” Lily C. Hansen, Author and 2017 Creative on The Rise.
Last but not least, I’m stoked to be teaching a communications & networking workshop for Creatives Day in October!!!
