Why the fascination with Andy Warhol?
CW: When I was younger, I was really artistic and always painting. One of the first art books I ever discovered was about Andy Warhol. While he isn’t the greatest artist I was extremely drawn to him. He was a genius and complete reflection of his art. My fascination with art is more so about my connection to the person and the intriguing stories behind their artwork. Art sparks so many questions, and there’s never a right answer. A teacher of mine always said, “It’s all about your own interpretation. You see the artwork differently than the person sitting next to you.” At the end of the day, art sparks conversation, creates change, and inspires someone else.
